Why do I get a “page not found” error when I add something to my shopping cart?

The shopping cart pages are encrypted for your privacy and security. If you do not have SSL 3.0 enabled on your browser, you will get a “page not found” error. To correct your security settings in your browser, go to Tools > Internet Options. Select the tab labeled ‘Advanced.’ From there, you should scroll to nearly the end of the options available. Make certain the check box next to ‘Use SSL 3.0′ is checked. This should correct the error.

Are all your products Vegan?

We are happy to say that ALL our products are Vegan which happens to be a part of our mission.

I see “fragrance” listed on the label. Do your products contain synthetic fragrances?

The term “fragrance” on our labels indicates the use of 100% certified organic natural fragrance (essential oils). We do not use any synthetic fragrances in any of our products. Beauty Bea makes every attempt to exclusively use blends of 100% certified organic natural oils in formulating our fragrances, which sometimes results in us using over thirteen different essential oils.

What is the best way to store balms and oils?

We recommend you store balms and oils in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and heat.

How are your balms made?

Our balms are made in small batches and baked in ceramic pots on low heat. All mixing is done with bamboo and wooden utensils. Metal is never allowed to touch the balms as it may cause chemical changes in the herbal compound.

My balm has melted. What should I do?

This is not at all unusual.  In the summer months, our Shea butter-based balms can easily melt if you happen to leave it in the sun or in a hot car. If your Shea Butter melts, just take the lid off the container and set it in the refrigerator or just keep it in an air conditioned room.   As it begins to cool, give it a stir every once in a while to bring the liquid parts back into uniform distribution with the solid parts. Actually, one of the beneficial properties of Shea Butter is the fact that it melts right around body temperatures.  When you apply it to your skin, it quickly becomes liquid thus making it easy to apply and readily absorbed into your bloodstream.
